DOES ELIZABETH REALLY DESERVES SYMPATHY FROM THE PUBLIC.
It will be recalled that, two month ago, a young lady, Elizabeth Onyeniyi (Queen Nina) had accused the Kogi state commissioner for water resources, Hon. Abdulmumin Danga , of rape.
The young lady claimed that she was arrested and taken to lokoja over a Facebook post and she was not only beaten and harrazed, she was also raped.
An urgly incident that got public outcry and generated mixed reaction among Nigerians. The story was everywhere, on print and electronic media, most Nigerians took pity on the young lady and demanded for justice to be served. Over 300 non-governmental(NGO’s) and the S.P.D gubernatorial candidate in the last governorship election in kogi state, Barr. Natasha H akpoti, All demanded for justice and call on the authorities to suspend,arrest and prosecute the Hon. Commissioner.
An allegation the commissioner had since denied and even filled a law suit at the kogi state high court ebogogo and demanded the sum of N100,000,000(One hundered Million Naira) As payment of deformation of character.
Two months after everywhere was peaceful not until on 27th April 2020 the young lady (Elizabeth) was seen celebrating the birthday of the commissioner on her Facebook wall, a development that got the public shocked.
The people were speechless and regretted ever sympathising with her, the young lady had since deleted the birthday post and announced to deactivate her Facebook account.
From the recent development the people have come to the conclusion that, all her allegations were false and unfounded.
There is no official statement from the commissioner Kogi state government, Barr. Natasha and the 300 NGO’s at the time of filling this report.
The most important question right now, is Does the young Lady deserves all the public out cry??
